Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. Her past roles included being a presidential candidate and hosting a television show on MSNBC. She's also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and an earlier co-host on the show The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show to start their own project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has guest starred in shows such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her continued fascination with politics to her experience as a new mom during the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was in Jordan. She was able to see the impact it had on people in her country and developed an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was the host of The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 2015. She launched the People's House Project in May 2017 to help Democratic causes.
